Random Heroes Ascent.

I bloody well guarantee it'll be more popular than the current Heroes' Ascent. Why? Because no rank discrimination. No wasting ages searching for players and a build, and then losing to an organized guild team who've been playing for years. I think Random HA would be extremely fun and extremely popular.

(Oh, and keep the same rewards chest at the end.)

NO just make that outpost the real GVG outpost and make the GH into the only true GH with no pvp hench and with hero access

Permanent Dragon Arena, with a ladder. I can't possibly emphasize enough how amazing that would be.

Truly the only balanced PvP format.

I also second Random Heroes Ascent It would be nice to give it a shot with some crazy builds that are not meta

I think this is actually a good solution to our "waah I want pve in GH" crowd. By making the staging ground for gvg public, it enables pug gvg and random guesting. (tack on whatever rank requirements you like.) That in turn can also mean for easier recruiting when you guest prospects instead of ppl spamming RA or QQ. With heroes being nuked and henchmen being fail, something like this is important for the continuation of low to mid level gvg.

The one major downside is people in ATs trying to secretly outspec each other... I don't have a good solution there... hero battles theoretically had the same problem, but 1) only your player character was visible, not heroes and 2) no-one took the format seriously anyway.

some ideas are pretty nice. i wonder if they will put something there really.

Personally i'd like the shrine capping format + random groups. A sort of Costume Brawl without fixed skillsets, using HeroBattles maps too (these maps havent been used since, right?); no idea how it would play or if it would be balanced. [someone suggested it already i guess]
